Tom’s leadership and training experience is drawn from developing and managing teams in tricky conditions across the world. Trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he deployed to Afghanistan as a young Army officer, leading soldiers under the most testing circumstances.  On return, he developed his skills in adult learning, taking new recruits from civilian to soldier at the British Army’s premier training establishment.

At the British Red Cross, Tom developed his passion for experiential training by designing and delivering courses to prepare diverse teams for deployment to humanitarian emergencies. Tom enjoys growing and cooking his own food and keeps himself fit and sane by walking his dog, Martha.
